01 March 2016
New Zealand is amongst the most culturally and ethnically diverse nations in the world. Race Relations Day is celebrated all over the country on 21 March every year to acknowledge the equal rights of everyone, to avoid discrimination and to celebrate oneness in the midst of diversity.
Each year the Regional Multicultural Councils under the Federation's umbrella actively participate in and contribute to the celebration of Race Relations Day.
This year, the Federation is privileged to be using the online campaign brand “Multicultural March 2016” to support the various cultural events and programmes organised by our Regional Multicultural Councils all around the country.
